Eco-Oil is a non-toxic botanical oil based miticide/insecticide that control Two-Spotted Mite, Aphids, Whitefly, Citrus Leafminer and Scale. The specially formulated blend of essential oils penetrates the exo-skeleton (skin) and breathing parts (spiracles) of insects reducing their ability to expel carbon dioxide resulting in carbon dioxide poisoning. Due to this physical mode of action, there is no potential for insects to become immune to eco-oil overuse. It will also act as a mild insect repellent on lead surfaces and destroy insect eggs, reducing the chance of reinfestation. Eco-Oil is botanical oil based, therefore it has lower potential to burn plants compared to mineral oil based products and there is no withholding period of edible plants. Because it is non-toxic and has a pleasant aroma, Eco-Oil has proven very popular for use around schools, hospitals, shopping centres etc.
